Turtleboy Doesn’t Know WTF He’s Talking About: MLK Edition

Here at TurtleboySporks we take no position on the hippies. We don’t have opinions here. We just point out Turtleboy‘s many errors and logical fallacy’s. Today even though he’s “getting sick of writing about” the hippies, Turtleboy is writing about the hippies.

One of the area’s Turtleboy makes the most mistakes is history and today is no acceptance. “Hippies Turn Down No Court Option From City Manager Because They Can’t Promise To Stop Blockading Our Streets” is too redundant to bother with but one of our writers noticed Turtleboy‘s big boner.

Turtleboy‘s comments are in italics and our’s are under.

They don’t think anything they’re doing is illegal because they think Martin Luther King Jr. would approve of it. As we’ve pointed out before, MLK had a court-ordered permit to march from Selma to Montgomery. The hippies had no such permit to blockade Kelley Square.

Turtleboy is right that there was a permit for the Selma march but this gives a false impression that MLK was against law breaking. Simply false. He came to prominence supporting Rosa Parks’s law breaking. He wrote about the morality of breaking unjust laws. He broke laws to gain attention for his protests. He even asked elementary school children to break the law and get arrested.

Our writer isn’t saying the hippies are right like MLK. We only have one opinion, Turtleboy doesn’t know WTF he’s talking about.
